Our Story Starts in early 2017
In 2017, a group of passionate educators and technologists, led by our founder Philip Evarist, recognized the urgent need for a platform that would bridge the skills gap in Africa. We saw a future where digital technology and vocational training could serve as powerful equalizers, providing opportunities to individuals regardless of their background or socioeconomic status.
Starting as a small training center in Owerri, Imo State, our early days were marked by determination, resourcefulness, and an unwavering belief in our mission. With just a few computers and a handful of students, we began laying the foundation for what would become a transformative institution.

2018-2019: Expanded our offerings to include advanced digital skills training in software development, graphics design, and digital marketing.
2020: Adapted to the global shift towards remote learning during the pandemic by introducing virtual training programs, ensuring uninterrupted access to education for our students.
2022: Partnered with educational institutions and government initiatives, including the SkillUp IMO project, to scale our impact and reach thousands of students across Nigeria.
2024: Launched our flagship finishing school program to help SkillUp IMO graduates transition seamlessly into the workforce through advanced applied training and professional development.
